I was reading this book called Etiquette by Emily Post the other morning and discovered a few pointers on perserving your style. We all know that when we get un-dress at night we usually just throw our clothes on the floor or ball them up in the corner( especially after those long nights). Shoes usually get found underneath something carelessly laying around. Through my reading I discovered if we take better care of our garments they will last longer here are a few tips:
1. Fold clothes neatly or place on a hanger after worn.
2. Place shoe trees in your shoes immedately after you wear them . If you place shoe trees in after you wear them the leather is still warm and this will allow them to reshape and keep their form.
3. Try not to wear garments or shoes to often give them time to breathe and reshape. If you only have two pair of shoes interchange the days you wear them they will last longer.
Style is not all about how much money you spend but rather the fit and shape and how well you take care of your clothing. Remember our apperance is the first impressioin of our personal brand and you always want to represent your brand well, peace.
